Civon Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of civon.ai and the Civon AI image and video creation service (the Service). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for activity in your browser session and, where applicable, your account. Keep your access secure. Do not share access, automate account creation, or evade free-credit limits.
2. The Service
Civon accepts images and text instructions and uses third-party AI models to create images and short videos, including generated audio where supported. AI outputs can be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to material produced for others. We do not promise that an output is unique, error-free, suitable for a specific purpose, or free from third-party claims. Review every output before relying on or publishing it.
Models, credit costs, limits, processing times, and features may change. We may temporarily limit or suspend a model for safety, capacity, provider, or legal reasons.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain any rights you have in images, prompts, and generated images, videos, or audio. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the user-visible Service. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content.
We do not claim ownership of your output. Your ability to use an output may be limited by applicable law, third-party rights, or the terms of an underlying model provider.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited activity includes unlawful content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive impersonation, malicious automation, infringement, attempts to bypass security or credit controls, and use that harms another person. We may block content or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the Service.
5. Credits
Daily check-in Free Credits expire at the next UTC 00:00 and do not roll over. Referral rewards are Free Credits and expire one year after they are granted. Subscription Premium Credits expire at the end of their monthly credit cycle and do not roll over. Premium Credits from one-time Credit Packs are valid for one year after purchase and then expire. Premium Credits granted through an administrator adjustment expire one year after they are granted. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not a stored-value account.
Each Credit Pack is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew. Buying a Credit Pack does not start or upgrade a subscription and does not unlock Pro or Ultra account benefits. An entirely unused Credit Pack may be eligible for a full payment refund if you contact us within seven days of purchase, subject to our Refund Policy.
Credits are charged when a generation task is accepted. Trial credits are subject to eligibility and usage limits. Credit refunds follow the failure and cancellation rules in our Refund Policy; guest trial-credit rules differ from account-credit rules. Refund attempts are idempotent. Dissatisfaction with a technically successful output does not by itself qualify for a credit refund.
6. Subscriptions, payments, and taxes
Stripe processes payments. Subscription plans renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual billing period until canceled. Cancellation stops renewal and takes effect at the end of the paid period. Annual subscriptions are billed annually, while subscription credits are delivered in monthly cycles. Prices are in USD. Taxes may be added when tax collection is enabled or legally required.
Payment refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Stripe's checkout and customer portal may be subject to Stripe's own terms.
7. Storage and deletion
Your browser keeps up to eight recent tasks per tool for 24 hours from task creation. These browser records are separate from media stored by Civon and from My Creations. Guest tasks and results, and account tasks created with auto-save off, expire after 24 hours. New tasks created with auto-save on use the account's applicable creation limits and retention period.
Unexpired guest tasks and results linked to an account keep their original expiry and are not added to My Creations. Linking does not restart the retention period. Expired or manually deleted media may be permanently removed and cannot be restored. Files you have already downloaded to your device are not removed by Civon's retention process.
An account deletion request disables access immediately, queues media for deletion, cancels subscription renewal, and schedules profile anonymization after a 30-day operational and fraud-prevention period. Some payment, security, and audit records may be retained when required for legal, tax, chargeback, or security purposes.
8. Intellectual-property reports
If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your rights, email [email protected] with your contact details, identification of the work and content, the relevant URL or task information, and a good-faith explanation. We may request identity or authority verification.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, abuse, legal demands, risk to the Service, or nonpayment. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion from the Account page.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or output quality. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our total liability relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit that limit.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email when reasonably practical. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the revised Terms.
